About Us -

Point Calculate is a free resource built to make Dungeons & Dragons character creation easier, faster, and more accurate. We focus on practical tools, clear explanations, and rule-based guidance that help players make better choices at the table.

Who we are

Point Calculate is founded and maintained by Hamza Ahmad. This site was created for players who want a simple, reliable way to work with ability scores, point buy, standard array, and other common character-building decisions without wasting time on confusing math or outdated advice.

Our goal is simple: publish helpful D&D content that is easy to understand, easy to trust, and actually useful in real play. Every page is written to support readers first, not search engines first.

What makes Point Calculate different

We care about accuracy, clarity, and usefulness. Our calculator is built around the official point buy system, and our guides are written to explain the rules in plain English. Where the rules change, we update the content to keep it current. Where a topic needs context, we add examples and practical advice so readers can use the information right away.

We also try to make every page genuinely helpful for both new and experienced players. That means no filler, no copied content, and no vague advice that sounds nice but does not help at the table.

How we work

Our content is created with a careful editorial process. We review the official rules, compare wording across relevant sources, and aim to present the information in a way that is accurate, readable, and easy to apply. We also keep a close eye on the practical side of the game, because a good D&D tool should save time, reduce confusion, and help players build characters with confidence.

Our commitment to trust

Point Calculate is designed to follow the principles behind Google's E-E-A-T standards: real experience, clear expertise, transparent authorship, and trustworthy content. We believe readers should always know who is behind a site, why it exists, and how the information is prepared.

We are also committed to keeping the site transparent and independent. Point Calculate is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Wizards of the Coast. Dungeons & Dragons, D&D, and the Player's Handbook are trademarks of Wizards of the Coast LLC.

Our promise: if a tool or guide is published here, it should be something we would feel comfortable using ourselves. If we find an error, we fix it. If a rule changes, we update the page. If a reader has a question or correction, we listen.
